Here's an easy way to determine if you want an "A" pass versus a "M" pass:
If you ride BART within San Francisco at least six times in a month, get the "A" pass. If not, you are better off with the "M" pass.

So SF (or Bay Area) residents get a $5/$15 increase while visitors only get a $2 increase? It stands to reason that someone visiting SF might be willing to spend a little more to save on the cost of cabs. Why do the residents of SF have to take such a huge hit?
