It's hard to generate much sympathy for SEIU. They've essentially become a "bosses union" and have spent a lot of time attacking other labor unions. They even decided to withold funding for the state Democratic Party when the Party refused to clap like a seal and follow their agenda, at the expense of other labor unions.
Then again, it's Gavin that's sticking it to them, while giving more pay raises to the police and fire departments. So it's kind of a battle of the titans. Can we get James Dean to come back from the grave, kick 'em both in the butt and say "Shape up or ship out?"
