Woman Exiting N Judah Hit By Car
Outbound service on the San Francisco Municipal Railway's N-Judah streetcar line has been restored after a woman was struck by a car in the Inner Sunset neighborhood this afternoon.
The woman had just stepped off an N-Judah light-rail vehicle when she was hit by a car at Judah Street and 12th Avenue, Muni spokesman Judson True said in a statement. The woman was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Muni suspended outbound service on the N-Judah line between UCSF Medical Center and Ocean Beach after the accident about 5:40 p.m. Inbound service was not affected, True said.
Shuttle buses were used to transport outbound passengers until regular service on the N-Judah line resumed about an hour later.
