The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge is scheduled to fully reopen this morning by 7 a.m., a transportation spokesman said.
The weekend construction work that extended to today after Caltrans crews discovered a crack in the bridge’s eastern span has been completed, Metropolitan Transportation Commission spokesman John Goodwin said.
All east and westbound lanes of the Bay Bridge are scheduled to be open to traffic by 7 a.m.
Caltrans had previously announced the repair work would require the bridge to be closed until Wednesday at 5 a.m.
