That's really sad. I can't quite understand how someone intent on suicide can be rational for a few moments, e.g., having to swipe his card, enter his pin, wait for authorization, then finally get to the process which ends corporeal existence. It must be a different mindset that's doing the practical stuff. RIP.

That's such a good (and interesting) point. I can't really wrap my head around it either. Such a public act. And this whole "depression in his past" thing seems really vague.
Anyway, I hope he's found peace...
