The Outside Lands Music Festival will be held in Golden Gate Park this Friday through Sunday: 1 – 10 p.m. on Friday, 12 – 10 p.m. on Saturday and 12 – 9:20 p.m. on Sunday.
The following Muni routes and lines will be affected:
N Judah
5 Fulton
7 Haight
28 19th Avenue
29 Sunset
44 O’Shaughnessy
71 Haight-Noriega
71 Limited
Due to increased ridership for this event as well as others around the City, concert patrons should allow extra travel time, especially late at night Friday through Sunday, on the N Judah and all bus lines serving Golden Gate Park. Traffic in the area will also be heavy.
Monitored bicycle parking will be hosted by the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition.
Extra service from Golden Gate Park will be added to Muni bus routes 5 Fulton and 71 Haight-Noriega and the N Judah line after the concert.
To help shorten delays be sure to purchase your Muni fare in advance. SFMTA staff will sell Muni fares at beginning at 11 a.m. at the following locations:
Caltrain Station at 4th and King streets
Civic Center Muni/BART Station
SFMTA staff will also be on site moving between the following stop locations as needed to sell return fares beginning about 5:30 p.m.:
Fulton Street at 30th Avenue
Fulton Street at 36th Avenue
Lincoln Way at 25th Avenue
Lincoln Way at 33rd Avenue
Judah Street at 34th Avenue
Pre-concert
Concert patrons are encouraged to allow plenty of travel time. Gates will open 90 minutes before the first concert each day.
Post-concert
After the concert, extra service from Golden Gate Park will be added to bus routes 5 and 71 and the N light rail line.
Boarding locations:
5 Fulton – Fulton Street at 30th Avenue and Fulton Street at 36th Avenue (to McAllister Street and 7th Street)
71 Haight/Noriega – Lincoln Way at 25th Avenue and Lincoln Way at 41st Avenue (to Market Street and 8th Street)
N Judah – Judah Street at Sunset Boulevard
The last extra service vehicles will depart these locations at midnight each night.
BART and Caltrain Information
Concert patrons who plan to take BART to the concert should exit at the Civic Center station and transfer to one of the following Muni route or line:
5 Fulton: McAllister Street at Hyde Street (in front of Hastings College of the Law)
N Judah: Civic Center Muni Metro Station outbound
Caltrain customers should board the N Judah at the 4th and King station.
Those who need to connect to BART or Caltrain from the concert should be aware that the last trains of the day are scheduled as follows:
BART (Last Train from Civic Center Station) Friday, Saturday, Sunday:
12:17 a.m. to Dublin/Pleasanton
12:20 a.m. to Pittsburg/Bay Point
12:44 a.m. to Millbrae
1:05 a.m. to SFO
Board an inbound 5 Fulton, 71 Haight-Noriega, or N Judah by 11 p.m. for East Bay trains and by 11:30 p.m. for Peninsula trains.
Caltrain (Last Train from Depot at 4th at King Streets)
Friday, Saturday: 12:01 a.m. (Board an inbound N Judah train by 10:45 p.m.)
Sunday: 9 p.m. (Board an inbound N Judah train by 7:45 p.m.)
