I've been pissed about the UC Regents for years.
These people are crooks and should be fired. Tax money is NOT your personal money, no matter how great you think you are.

Well, the regents are mostly political appointees: 1 by Pete Wilson, 10 by Arnold Schwarzenegger (who is himself a regent ex officio). That's 12 Republicans right there, out of 26 regents. I can't figure out if they have a majority, but it looks like Yudof is another, at least his wife is deep into the conservative movement. Anyway, that would explain this item.
But the student regent is named D'Artagnan. One regent for increased executive pay, all for increased executive pay, or something like that.
