Update 7/17 9:30 a.m.:: A man fatally shot Thursday afternoon in San Francisco's Bayview District was identified today by the medical examiner's office as Delvon Fields, a city resident.
Fields, 28, was found shot at about 5:20 p.m. at McKinnon Avenue and Third Street, according to police.
He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made.
7/16, 6:15 p.m.: A man was fatally shot tonight near San Francisco's Bayview neighborhood, police said.
Police received several 911 calls at about 5:20 p.m. reporting a shooting victim at McKinnon Avenue and Third Street. Arriving officers found a man suffering at least one gunshot wound, police said.
The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and no suspect information was immediately available.
