BART Experiencing Delays After Train Becomes Disabled On Tracks

BART is reporting major delays this afternoon at all San Francisco stations because of a disabled train.

Around 3 p.m., a mechanical issue caused the train to be disabled on the track between the Glen Park and 24th Street Mission stations, according to BART spokesman Taylor Huckaby.

As of 3:40 p.m., another train is in the process of pushing the train to the 24th Street station to let passengers off, Huckaby said.

Residual delays are affecting trains headed to the East Bay as well as trains headed in the Daly City, Millbrae and San Francisco International Airport directions.
