Victim of Suspicious Death in Duboce Triangle Identified

A man whose death Wednesday in San Francisco’s Duboce Triangle neighborhood is being considered suspicious has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as Peter Huerta.

A person reported the death of the 51-year-old San Francisco resident at about 2:25 p.m. Wednesday in the first block of Sanchez Street, police said. Someone went to check on Huerta and found him dead in bed, according to police.

The position of the body when it was found and torn clothing led investigators to rule the death suspicious, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.
