SFPD Seek Man Suspected of Robbing Richmond District Bank

Police are seeking a man suspected of robbing a bank in San Francisco’s Richmond District on Wednesday afternoon.

At 1:12 p.m., police responded to a robbery happening at a bank located in the 400 block of Clement Street, according to police.

Upon arrival, officers learned a suspect had walked into the bank, threatened a female bank teller and demanded money. The teller then gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and he walked out, police said.

The suspect did not appear to use a weapon during the robbery, according to police.

Officers were unable to locate the suspect, described as an Asian man in his mid 60s, police said.
