Two Dead, Two in Critical Condition in Sunday Morning Shootings

Two people died and two are in critical condition in three separate shootings in Oakland early this morning, according to the Oakland Police Department.

Police got a call at 1:19 a.m. reporting a shooting in the 2700 block of International Boulevard, Oakland police Officer J. Moore said. A person got shot while traveling in a vehicle with four other people.

The person is in critical condition, Moore said.

Three people suffered bullet wounds in another shooting at about 1:50 a.m. in the 1500 block of Broadway, he said. All three took themselves for treatment outside of the Bay Area and one died at a hospital, he said.

Another is in critical condition and the third is in stable condition, Moore said.

A third shooting occurred at about 2:20 a.m. in the 2000 block of Foothill Boulevard, he said.

Someone took the victim, a juvenile and Oakland resident, to the hospital where he died, according to police.
