Dog Killed in Fisherman’s Wharf Residential Fire

Firefighters have extinguished a two-alarm fire this morning that killed a dog in a multi-family structure in the Fisherman’s Wharf neighborhood of San Francisco, fire officials said.

The fire at 812 Bay St. was reported at 9 a.m. Crews had the fire contained at 9:30 a.m. and extinguished at 9:43 a.m.

Neither civilians nor firefighters were injured in the fire but it displaced four people from three units, fire officials said.

The American Red Cross responded to help any displaced residents.
