SFPD Seek Suspect in Marina Bank Robbery

A man who robbed a bank in San Francisco’s Marina District on Monday afternoon remains at large, police said.

The suspect, described as a man in his early to mid 30s, entered a bank in the 2100 block of Chestnut Street near Pierce Street around 1:30 p.m. Monday, according to police.

He approached two female bank tellers and simulated that he had a weapon. He demanded cash and the victims complied, police said.

The suspect fled from the bank with the cash and has not been identified or arrested, according to police.
