After being struck, at about 12:06 a.m., the motorcyclist stopped at the Fairmont Hotel near the intersection of Mason and California streets to seek assistance, according to police.

An employee at the Fairmont Hotel said this morning that she doesn’t believe the shooting happened outside the hotel but was able to confirm that the ambulance picked the victim up from the hotel.
