The San Francisco Medical Examiner has identified the body police found in a burnt camper van this morning in the Bayview neighborhood as Konata Perkins, officials with the medical examiner’s office said.
Officials said Perkins was a male and San Francisco resident but they not know his age.
San Francisco police officers discovered the camper van on fire at 6:46 a.m. at Ingalls Street and Van Dyke Avenue, Officer Albie Esparza said.
Esparza said once the fire department extinguished the fire, a body was found inside.
