Group Robbed at Aquatic Park

A group of eight people were held at gunpoint and robbed by another group of eight people near San Francisco’s Aquatic Park on Friday night, a police spokeswoman said.

Officers received a report of a robbery at about 9:45 p.m. Friday at the cove in San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, located about two blocks from Fisherman’s Wharf, according to San Francisco police spokeswoman Officer Grace Gatpandan.

Eight suspects, described as males between 18 and 20 years old, approached the victims, described as six men and two women also in their late teens and early 20s.

The suspects brandished multiple handguns while demanding the victims’ property, Gatpandan said.

The suspects took wallets, purse, cellphones, cash and credit cards, as well as a jacket and hat, according to Gatpandan.

No suspects have been arrested in connection with the robbery as of today.
