49ers Fullback Bruce Miller Arrested on Suspicion of Spousal Battery

San Francisco 49ers fullback Bruce Miller was arrested last week on suspicion of battery of his spouse in Santa Clara, police said.

Arrest logs on the Santa Clara Police Department’s website show Miller, 27, was arrested at 11:55 p.m. last Thursday. No other details about the incident were immediately available from police.

49ers general manager Trent Baalke said in a statement, “The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the matter involving Bruce Miller. We were disappointed to learn of these reports and will do our due diligence in collecting all relevant information.”

Miller only ran the ball six times for 9 yards in the 49ers’ 2014 season but caught 18 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns.
