A woman stabbed another woman in the neck during an altercation at the Alice Griffith public housing complex in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Friday night, police said.
According to the police investigation, the victim and the suspect, both women in their 20s, got into an altercation shortly before 9:40 p.m. in the unit block of Nicholas Way.
The suspect stabbed the victim in the neck with a knife and then fled the scene, police said.
Officers said the victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
No arrests have been made and the motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
