Two Men Stabbed in Separate Incidents

Two men were stabbed within about 20 minutes of each other in different San Francisco neighborhoods on Monday evening, police said.

A 49-year-old man was found with a stab wound to his torso at 6:41 p.m. in the 200 block of Jennings Street in the city’s Bayview District, police said.

The man was taken to San Francisco General Hospital but has been uncooperative with investigators, so police did not reveal details of what led to the stabbing.

Another man was found stabbed in the Duboce Triangle area about 20 minutes earlier, police said.

A 50-year-old suspect approached the 38-year-old man in the 2000 block of Market Street and stabbed him in the shoulder, police said.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries not considered life threatening. The suspect ran away and has not been found as of this morning, police said.
