SFPD Responds to North Beach Shooting

Officers responded to a shooting in San Francisco that left one man seriously injured this morning, a police spokesman said.

Police found the wounded man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body around 1:45 a.m. in the 400 block of Broadway Street, according to San Francisco police spokesman Gordon Shyy.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital and is expected to survive his injuries, Shyy said.

The suspect remains at large, according to Shyy.
