Over 200 Pot Plants Found During Fire At Hyde And Sutter

Firefighters responding to a one-alarm fire in downtown San Francisco early Sunday morning discovered more than 200 marijuana plants being cultivated inside the building, police said.

At about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, firefighters received a report of a fire in the 1000 block of Sutter Street near Hyde Street.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a marijuana cultivation site containing more than 200 plants, police said.

The grow operation remains under investigation and police have not reported any arrests in connection with the case.
