Man Struck, Injured by Vehicle Near Broadway Tunnel

A male pedestrian was transported to a hospital this morning after being struck by vehicle near the Broadway Tunnel in San Francisco’s Financial District, according to police and fire officials.

Shortly after 9:30 a.m., police received a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision at the intersection at Stockton and Broadway streets, about a block east of the Broadway Tunnel, according to San Francisco police spokeswoman Officer Grace Gatpandam.

The man was been transported to a local hospital, according to the fire department, but the extent of his injuries was not immediately released.
