Teenager Injured in Western Addition Shooting

A teenage boy was injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood on Sunday evening, police said.

Officers received a report at 7:10 p.m. Sunday of a shooting in the 1000 block of Webster Street near Golden Gate Avenue.

Police responded to the scene and found a 15-year-old boy in the street suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. The victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to police.

Police said the teen refused to cooperate with officers investigating the shooting.

No suspects were detained and the motive for the shooting remains under investigation, police said.
