Motorcyclist Sustains Serious Injuries in Crash Near Candlestick Point

A motorcyclist is recovering from serious head and leg injuries following a crash near Candlestick Point this afternoon, according to San Francisco police.

Police Officer Gordon Shyy reports the rider was involved in a solo collision in front of the Candlestick Point gate around 12:45 p.m., and was ejected from his motorcycle.

Though his injuries are serious, Shyy said the motorcyclist is expected to survive.

    I know this person and the family says someone witnessed this accident and there was another vehicle involved- hit & run. The paramedics found him bleeding to death & no one else was around. They saved his life but he lost his leg.
