Man Shot in Foot in Mission District

A man riding a bicycle was shot in the foot in San Francisco’s Mission District just after midnight today, according to police.

Officers responded to the shooting at the corner of Cesar Chavez and Hampshire streets at 12:05 a.m.

A suspect shot the 43-year-old man in the foot. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.

Police have not released any description of the suspect in the case.
