Man Shot in Visitacion Valley

An 18-year-old man was injured in a shooting early this morning in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley, according to police.

Officers responded around 12:40 a.m. to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Leland Avenue, police said.

The officers found bullet casings at the scene, but no victims.

A short time later, the 18-year-old victim walked in to San Francisco General Hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm, police said. He is expected to survive.

Police did not have any information about a suspect in the shooting as of this morning.
