SFFD Swiftly Extinguishes Richmond District Blaze

Firefighters have extinguished a one-alarm fire at an apartment building in San Francisco’s Richmond District this evening, a San Francisco Fire Department dispatcher said.

Crews responded to reports of a laundry room dryer fire at a three-story apartment building in the 400 block of 19th Avenue around 7:20 p.m. and had the fire out by 7:33 p.m., the dispatcher said.

No residents were displaced by the blaze and no injuries were reported.

Fire crews remained at the scene as of 8 p.m.
