Man Jumped By Gang Of Six, Escapes With Stab Wounds

A 43-year-old man was attacked and stabbed by a group of six men in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood Thursday afternoon, according to police.

The man was walking around 1:15 p.m. near Golden Gate Avenue and Hyde Street when a group of men were blocking the sidewalk, police said.

The man and the six men started arguing when the group attacked the man with a knife, according to police.

The man suffered puncture wounds and cuts to his thigh and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, police said.
He is expected to survive his injuries.

The six suspects, all believed to be in their 20s, were able to get away and have not been caught as of this morning, police said.
