A woman was seriously injured when she was struck by a car on San Francisco’s Mission Street Friday, a police sergeant said.
The 74-year-old woman was crossing Mission Street mid-block at Amazon Avenue around 12:05 p.m. when she was hit, San Francisco police Sgt. Danielle Newman said.
The woman was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening head injuries, Newman said.
A 25-year-old man in a silver Hyundai who hit her remained at the scene and has been cooperating with police, Newman said.
