BART trains are stopping at the San Francisco Powell Street station following a brief interruption due to police activity this evening, according to BART officials.

BART trains stopped allowing passengers to board or exit at the Powell Street station at about 7:20 p.m. due to police activity in the area, BART officials said.

Powell Station reopened to BART passengers at about 7:45 p.m., BART officials said.
