Fire crews quickly put out a one-alarm garage fire at a home on San Francisco’s Dolores Street this afternoon, a fire official said.

The fire was reported 4:52 p.m. at a residential building in the 1200 block of Dolores Street, which is near 25th Street, the fire official said.

When crews arrived they found the garage filled with smoke, she said.

It appeared the fire started in a trashcan in the garage, she said.

Firefighters had the small blaze under control at 5:09 p.m., she said.
