A two-alarm fire in San Francisco’s North of Panhandle neighborhood was quickly put out Sunday night, a fire department dispatcher said.
Firefighters responded to the fire at a 13-story apartment building in the 1700 block of McAllister Street, which is near Broderick, at 11:03 p.m., the dispatcher said.
The fire was upgraded to a second-alarm as a precaution due to the smoke, she said.
The fire was under control by 11:21 p.m., the dispatcher said.
No injuries were reported, she said.
