Medical Examiner Identifies Victim Of SF’s First Homicide Of 2014

A man who was found fatally stabbed in a building on San Francisco’s Market Street early this morning has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as 21-year-old Jose Manuel Puc-Muy.

Puc-Muy, a San Francisco resident, was found stabbed at about 3:20 a.m. in the lobby of a building in the 1700 block of Market Street near Gough Street, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests had been made and no suspect description was immediately available this afternoon in connection with the killing, police said.
