Woman Shot As She Leaves Store

A woman was shot in the leg was she walked out of a store in San Francisco’s Bayview District early Saturday morning, police said today.

The shooting was reported at about 12:45 a.m. Saturday near Third Street and Quesada Avenue.

The 30-year-old victim was with friends and was coming out of the store when several shots rang out and everyone began to run, according to police.

Once she got a block away, the woman realized she had been shot in the leg. Her boyfriend drove her to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for her injuries, which were not life-threatening, police said.

No arrests had been made and no suspects were immediately available in connection with the shooting.
