Two men were injured in separate shootings in San Francisco on Friday evening, police said today.
The first shooting was reported at 6:21 p.m. near Cesar Chavez Street and Treat Avenue.
The 20-year-old victim was sitting in a car when two male suspects approached and one opened fire, hitting the victim in the hand, police said.
The victim went to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injury, which is not considered life-threatening.
The suspects fled east and then went onto Hampshire Street. They had not been found as of this morning, according to police.
About an hour later, at 7:17 p.m., another man was shot at 23rd and Arkansas streets in the city’s Potrero Hill neighborhood.
The victim in that case, a 22-year-old man, was also in a car when he was shot. He suffered a graze wound to his back and was treated at San Francisco General Hospital, police said.
Investigators were not able to get any suspect information in that case because the victim has not cooperated with police.
