A teenager was shot and injured Saturday evening in San Francisco’s Sunnydale neighborhood, according to police.
The shooting was reported at 6:39 p.m. in the first block of Brookdale Avenue. A 19-year-old man was hit by gunfire as he was walking in the area, police said.
The man was struck in the torso and taken to San Francisco General Hospital. He is expected to survive, police said.
No suspect information was immediately available this morning.
