A Grammy-nominated singer will join current and former San Francisco 49ers Tuesday for a holiday tree-lighting ceremony in the city’s Financial District.
The seventh-annual lighting of the tree at 555 California St. will feature Carly Rae Jepsen, whose song “Call Me Maybe” was nominated for two Grammy Awards last year, as well as former 49ers legend Ronnie Lott and current 49ers Marcus Lattimore and Alex Boone.
The event is hosted by Vornado Realty Trust, which acquired the 555 California St. building in 2007. Last year’s event featured 49er Hall of Famers Joe Montana and Dwight Clark and Grammy-winner Robin Thicke.
Tuesday’s tree lighting is scheduled for 5 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
