
A one-alarm fire damaged a building in San Francisco’s Mission District this afternoon, according to a San Francisco fire lieutenant.
The blaze was reported just before 3 p.m. at 2911 16th St., near the intersection with South Van Ness Avenue, Lt. Robert Lopez said.
Firefighters were able to control the fire by 3:15 p.m., he said.
The fire affected part of the building’s interior but did not cause any injuries, Lopez said.
The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.
