Masked Men Behind Mission District Shooting

Two masked suspects shot a man in San Francisco’s Mission District on Thursday afternoon, police said today.

The shooting was reported at 2:14 p.m. in the 3200 block of 26th Street, which is near Folsom.

After firing at the 19-year-old victim, the suspects fled in a black or blue Honda and had not been found as of this morning, police said.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound that is not considered life-threatening, according to police.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
