Man Grazed In Mid-Morning Shooting

A man was grazed by a bullet as he drove through San Francisco’s Sunnydale neighborhood on Thursday evening, police said today.

The shooting was reported at about 11 a.m. in the 800 block of Velasco Avenue.

The victim, a man in his 40s, pulled over after the shooting and realized his head was bleeding. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which were not life-threatening, police said.

The male suspect, believed to be in a green sedan, had not been found as of this morning, according to police.
