Woman Robbed At Gunpoint While Taking Out The Trash

A woman was robbed at gunpoint after taking out the trash at her apartment building in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood on Wednesday morning, police said today.

The robbery was reported at 7:09 a.m. in the 1100 block of Scott Street, which is near Turk.

The victim, a 45-year-old woman, had exited her apartment and walked to a common courtyard to take out the garbage. Upon returning, she was followed by two suspects who forced her back into her home at gunpoint, according to police.

The suspects took the woman’s purse and other items and then fled back into the courtyard. They had not been found as of this morning, police said.

The woman was not injured in the robbery.
