10:17 PM: Power has been restored on San Francisco’s Treasure Island after an outage caused by high winds, a a San Francisco Public Utilities Commission spokeswoman said tonight.

Work crews have restored power to island residents but are still working to repair a downed power line, SFPUC spokeswoman Betsy Rhodes said.

The outage was reported at 7 p.m.

9:26 PM: A power outage on San Francisco’s Treasure Island appears to have been caused by wind-blown debris falling on power lines, a San Francisco Public Utilities Commission spokeswoman said tonight.

Work crews attempted to restore power to the lines around 9 p.m. but were unsuccessful, and are in the process of reinspecting them for signs of damage now, SFPUC spokeswoman Betsy Rhodes said.

They will make another attempt around 9:45 p.m., Rhodes said.

The outage was reported at 7 p.m.
