Police Still Seeking Suspects In Fatal Lower Haight Shooting

A man who was killed in a shooting in San Francisco’s Lower Haight neighborhood last week has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as 23-year-old Marcus Spruell.

The shooting, which occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 14 in the 400 block of Rose Street near Buchanan Street, also injured two other people, police said.

Spruell was taken to a hospital and succumbed to his injuries later that day. The other two victims had less serious injuries, according to police.

Two suspects believed to have been involved in the shooting were seen fleeing east on Rose Street.
