A small airplane has landed on a street in East San Jose this morning, a fire dispatcher said.
Fire crews responded to a report of a plane landing in the area of Capitol Expressway and Quimby Road, east of the Reid-Hillview Airport, just before 8 a.m., the dispatcher said.
No injuries have been reported, she said.
Further details about the incident were not immediately available.
Firefighters have since been released from the scene and San Jose police and airport officials are continuing to investigate, the dispatcher said.
