SFPD Seeking South Beach Bank Robber

A man robbed a bank in San Francisco’s South Beach neighborhood on Wednesday morning, police said today.

The robbery was reported at 10:07 a.m. in the first block of Spear Street.

The suspect, a man in his late 50s, came into the bank, walked up to a teller and demanded money, according to police.

The teller put money on the counter and the suspect took it, then fled on Spear Street toward Mission Street, police said.

He had not been found as of this morning, according to police.

No weapon was seen during the robbery and no one was injured, police said.
