A fire was put out at a home near San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts this morning, a fire official said.
The fire in the 3600 block of Lyon Street, which is across from the former site of the Exploratorium science museum, was reported at 10:07 a.m., the official said.
A smoke detector went off because of a small blaze on the top floor of the three-story home, she said.
The fire was contained to the top area of the home and was called under control at 10:32 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
