Fire At Second And Harrison Prompts Evacuation

A vehicle fire at a parking structure in San Francisco this afternoon caused the evacuation of the building above it, fire officials said.

The fire was reported at 1:19 p.m. at a parking structure near Second and Harrison streets.

Firefighters had water on the fire as of 1:27 p.m. and were trying to clear the building of smoke while also checking to make sure no one was trapped inside, fire officials said.

No injuries have been reported in the fire, the cause of which is under investigation.
