Fight Near Main Library Ends In Stabbing

A man was critically injured in a stabbing near the San Francisco Main Library late Friday night, police said today.

The stabbing was reported at 11:39 p.m. Friday near Fulton and Larkin streets.

The victim was stabbed multiple times in the back during a fight, police said. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are considered life-threatening.

No arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing and no suspect information was immediately available this morning, according to police.
