9:56 AM: BART service is back on schedule after an equipment problem caused delays earlier this morning, a BART employee said.

A problem with switching equipment near the San Bruno station was reported around 7:25 a.m.

The issue caused delays of up to 15 minutes for trains headed to San Francisco International Airport and Millbrae. There were also some delays on trains headed to the East Bay.

As of 9:40 a.m., the delays had ended, according to the employee.

7:53 AM: An equipment problem near San Bruno is causing delays of up to 15 minutes for BART trains this morning, an agency dispatcher said.

The problem was reported at about 7:25 a.m. with switching equipment near BART’s San Bruno station, the dispatcher said.

The issue is causing delays for trains headed to San Francisco International Airport and Millbrae as well as ones headed toward the East Bay, according to the dispatcher.
